Restauranters Alex and Miles Pincus, who run the Grand Banks, have opened a New Orleans themed bar in the Tribeca area. The New Orleans influence, for the two brothers who grew up in the Nola area, is evident by looking at the bars food menu. The menu consists of items that remind them of Nola; oysters and fruits de mer, caviar, lobster frites, their mom’s famous pralines, and gumbo.

For their drink menu they sum it up it on their website as, “We enjoy a good drink (or four), and we serve what we like – variations on classic, forgotten, and high-school-era cocktails; wines you can feel good about, celebratory bubbles, and easy-drinking beers.”

To further call upon the boat theme of the spot, the front door of the entrance has a classic round porthole boat door design. This venue is fresh, just opened in May. Highly recommend checking it out.
