Gongo
This sleek new Japanese speakeasy can be found down a hidden stairway at the back of MINE Craft Sushi, which is located in LES on the lively St. Marks Place. The outstanding drink selection is of course Japanese-inspired but also showcases the intentionally creative thought process that goes into each drink option that is listed on their menu that changes seasonally. Gongo provides a modern intimate setting with friendly service. They also have an extensive premium sake list in addition to shochu, spirits, and wine options. The speakeasy establishment even caters to those who want non alcoholic drinks with enjoyable mocktails.
